Today, was a very special day. Very special indeed was this very day. The story shall be told.
Once upon a time, in the regions of Northern Singapore, a war was being raged in a classroom.
A teacher that acted as both form and chemistry teacher for the class of 3E4 has told the class some startling news. She has said that the Best Class Award would be stripped from them if a single mistake was to be made by the class till the month of May.
An award in jeopardy, a class of 44 seething, just what may happen??
A young man stood up, and questioned her ways.
“Don’t other classes have faults too? Do other classes really have consistency with their standard?”
Her reply was quick and yet, very blunt.
“No… I’m not trying to say that but we are special as we are the best class”
(Here, the narrator would like to point to the sign, “Vomit Blood”)
Another brave young man stood up and questioned her again.
“What if small mistakes are made? There’s a difference between small and big mistakes!”
Once again, with her blunt wit she replied.
“So, what? They are still mistakes after all”
An outburst ensured and she gave in to the class of 3E4.
“Okay, I will give you all 3 more chances until Mid Year.”
The outburst grew softer as the class decided that they would try to comply. But to what extent can they control themselves? The psychological damage has been dealt. The 2 young heroes have been cast into the hazardous dungeon from which they will return a whole new person. The resistance will start but pay heed to my words. Once the chances have been given, and the award taken, the corridors of the school will whisper…
“That’s class 3E4! Avoid all confrontations!! Run while you still can!!”
(Please take note this is an exaggerated storyline that took place today. There is truth to this unlikely tale)
